Skinned Knuckles magazine is a monthly publication written by and for automotive and light truck collectors and restorers. Each issue contains helpful, informative, and hands-on articles about making repairs and maintaining and restoring vintage and classic collector vehicles.

      Now in our 42nd year, Skinned Knuckles has earned the reputation as the hobby’s premier monthly auto restoration magazine. With its staff of outstanding writers, SK features nearly 100 restoration articles annually, in addition to technical tips, shop ideas and much more.

      The regular columns range from historical, to anecdotal, to, of course, “How-To” articles. Each article is liberally illustrated with detailed photographs and drawings. Each issue contains regular columns, contributor’s submissions, an events calendar, restoration supply and service advertisements and restoration book lists.

      Skinned Knuckles is for the collector interested in restoring a vehicle to its original condition. There is a carefully balanced mix between the traditional "antique" automobiles and trucks--pre-WWII--and the "newer" collectibles which are the center of interest to the younger, new-to-the-hobby collector.
